“Who is Thomas Lynne”
Many people are surprised to learn that there isn’t actually a “Thomas Lynne.”
In fact, hardly a week goes by without someone calling me Thomas.
More than 20 years ago, when I founded the company, I wanted the name to mean something far more important than my own name.
“Thomas Lynne” comes from my children.
My son’s middle name is Thomas, and my daughter’s middle name is Lynne.
The name Lynne carries an especially special meaning to me. It came from my Aunt Lynne, who passed away from cancer when I was 16 years old. She never had children of her own, but she loved my brother and me as if we were her own. She was one of the most caring, generous, and influential people in my life, and I adored her.
When it came time to name the company, I wanted it to represent family, legacy, and the people who matter most.
Today, Thomas Lynne has grown into a family of companies serving clients across real estate, property management, investments, media, and more. But at its core, the name remains a reminder of why it all started.
It’s not just a company name.
It’s a tribute to family, legacy, and the people who helped shape who I am.
